The Locator
You need to know where it is when it goes missing
For example: For trucks, trailers, bikes, golf bag, sporting equipment, bulldozer, bob-cat, light towers, hire cars, hire equipment, vehicles, etc
Battery: Battery, replace after two years
Installation: Two screws to secure the unit
Solutions: No power needed on the asset
Alarms: Movement, out of area, rough handling, low battery.
Received via: Email, SMS
A Locator can be placed in equipment or vehicles large or small. Batteries last 3 years. When you need to find the location of your asset, simply go onto the web site & see where it is. If you select a date range, the screen will show the track that the asset has taken over that time period. If the Locator isn’t needed all the time it will ‘sleep’ until you dial in & wake it up to report.
Attach a locator to your bob-cat and if it’s not parked where you last left it, you’ll be able to sign in to the web site & see exactly where it is. The GPS location will be displayed on a map, you’ll be able to scroll in on the map & see where it is now parked.
If the locator is in a hidden position in the car & the car is stolen, you’ll be able to find it easily, or if it was on the back of a truck being moved, the location on the road would be shown with a moving ‘dot’.
If the locator is in a hidden position in the cash register drawer & the cash drawer is stolen, you’ll be able to find it easily. If the robbery has just happened and it is still being moved, the location on the road would be shown with a moving ‘dot’ that the police can get to.
Attach a locator to your equipment and if it’s not parked where you last left it, you’ll be able to sign in to the web site & see exactly where it is. The GPS location will be displayed on a map. If you bill by the hour or hire equipment you’ll be able to see when it arrives on site & when it leaves.
A locator can help you locate expensive assets – shown here in a race car truck attached near the tyre rack. Or if you’re just wondering when the truck will arrive with the car & tyres, you’ll be able to see their position on the road.
Pick a position on the frame of your new trailer to attach the locator to so that it can be mounted in a hidden space for tracking if & when necessary.
XTrack
You need the location when you want to find it and also has a push-button
For example: Push-button can be pressed when a skip-bin is full & ready for pick-up, portable [hire] toilets or transport frames ready for pick up, etc. For skip-bins, hire equipment, transport frames, trailers, bikes, people, animals, pets, hire cars, vehicles, etc
Battery: Battery, replace after two years
Installation: Double sided tape, hook & loop fasteners or one screw (‘key-hole’ on back)
Solutions: No power needed on the asset, monthly charge
Alarms: Geo-fence, low battery.

Screen shot showing the detail that is possible with any of the tracker range. If you have a vehicle making a delivery to a building, you can actually see the side of the building that the vehicle is parked & if you click to display the track, you can see where they drove in and the route they took to get to the parking space. If you’re picking up a skip bin or portable toilet you can find the location easily. Here you can see the location of the vehicle when it parked – we clicked on the point of interest in the History on the right hand side.
Attach an XTrack to your skip bins so that when they are full and ready for collection the people on site can press the button. The XTrack will send an email or SMS to let you know the location. That way you can get the bin back quickly & another out to the site. Another advantage is that if you have a truck out collecting a bin & you receive the email/SMS you may be able to send the truck to get that one too.
Attach an XTrack to your golf buggys so that you can see where on the course they are. If the patrons need some food or water they can press the button so that the XTrack sends an email or SMS to let your staff know. The location will be displayed so that you can dispatch the requirements – saves having staff with refreshments driving all over the course for no reason.
The FTL (Fixed Temperature Logger)

The screen shot shows the Temp Zone data loggers displaying the temperatures on screen. All of the units displayed with a green square on the left hand side are within the parameters set by the user. There are 2 units which are out of range, these are displayed with a yellow square, however an alert has not been set. There is one of the units which is in alarm – this is shown with a red square. This can be seen on the screen, the user can log onto the data logger to check further details and if necessary change alarm or set points.

A Tracker can be placed in a vehicle to show a huge amount of information. Trackers need to be charged weekly. This screen shot shows a vehicle named ‘Run 1 Fridge Veh’. The tracker’s battery voltage is 4.1V & signal strength is ‘Excellent’. The temperature in the vehicle is 4.5°C, humidity is 63%, light level is 108Lux (therefore the back of the truck is shut), ignition is ON, speed is only 1km/hr (probably stuck in traffic), the odometer is 48105.2km & the run hours for the vehicle are 2632.6hours. You may only want speed, location & temp, but the rest will become very handy!
Screen shot shows the location of 5 vehicles, we’ve clicked on the one in the city to display the details. The 3 red circles on the map are locations of stopped vehicles which are turned off, the 2 green squares are vehicles which are on but stopped, if there was a moving vehicle it would be shown as a green arrow with the arrow pointing in the direction of the movement.
Place a Tracker in your food trucks and you’ll not only be able to see where the truck is but also the temperature of the back of the truck and light level. Light level will let you know if the back of the truck is open or shut.
Place trackers in some of the cartons on your pallet and you’ll be able to see the location of the truck and track the temperature of the cartons.
A tracker can even be used to track your expensive assets. As there is no real install (double sided tape or hook & loop fastener) it is movable from asset to asset. If you’re wondering where it is on it’s flight – log in & check (then you’ll know what time it will arrive at the airport!)
Place a tracker in the fridge on your boat & you’ll know where the boat is (if it’s not where you left it last) & what the temperature is inside the fridge. You can track your boat if it is stolen, but also should it be disconnected from the mooring during a bad storm.
